 Miniature Dinosaur Garden Jurassic Garden Dino 1 ~ the sun came out for the first time this year, warm enough to start playing in the garden . ~ we love setting up imaginary kids garden adventure ..this time we made a miniuature dinosaur garden where spinosaurus reigned, and triceratops happily lived next to the mighty t-rex ~ to make miniature dinosaur gardens .. take a look around what is on hand in your backyard garden... some left over logs from making vegetable borders, a mini cloche turned upside down makes a superb dinosaur watering hole  Jurassic Garden Dinosaur Gardens Nest 1 ~ With a little imagination we soon found all the materials we needed to build out dinosaur frineds are nest ready to hatch their eggs .. kids activities dont alwyas need lots of money .. keeping an eye open for materials that can be recycled kids toy stuff is often more fun and leads to lots of imaginative play ..for us the making of the structure is half the fun ~ some cut grass from the garden, a little hay from the rabbit who has moved into his summer enclosuer in a corner of our play garden , some found twigs and a dinosaur nest has found its home in our minuature dinosaur garden  Miniature Dinosuar Garden Jurassic Garden 2 ~ a few saved conkers from the autumn made a perfect nest surrounding for the triceratops and his pebble eggs ..a large quartz crystal stone added a little bit of magic into our dinosaur gardens over a bridge made up from recycled bits from the garden ..an old wooden board and a piece of brick  Dinosaur Gardens for Kids 3 ~ an old garden cloche turned upside down made a good watering hole for our dinosaur garden ... and soon spinosaurus with his newly hatched baby spinosaurus could be seen drinking happily  Dinosaur Garden for Kids 4 ~ The Big Brachiosaurus joined spinosaurus for a drink ..a big lavender plant in a pot from the back garden got placed around the watering hole for protection from any univited predators...  Dinosaur Garden for Kids ~ Right at the back of our garden we found an old root that had dried out and had lots of knarly holes..just perfect for a little baby triceratop to have his first adventures in our dinosaur garden ~ We also had lots of old garden sticks we place around the borders..next project for our dinosaur gardens is to make a homemade flag .. complete with a territorial marking picture.. |
