What you will need:
Garden Activities for Kids

~ a wooden spoon
~ a paintbrush
~ water holder
~ acrylic paint (yellow looks good in a kid herb garden, or rainbow colors for different flower garden spots)
~ a waterproof marker pen

How to make this Garden Crafts Wooden Spoon Garden Plant Label
~ take a wooden spoon and paint it in any color you like with acrylic paint

~ with kids it helps to stick the wooden spoon into a piece of polystyrene or garden foam to help keep it upright

~ yellow is a lovely colour for herb garden plant labels

~ leave the wooden spoon to dry

~ while you re waiting for one to dry you can start on the next garden plant label

~ when the wooden spoon is dry take a waterproof black marker pen and writie your plant's name onto the new garden plant label spoon

~ take the handle of the wooden spoon and stick it into the soil next to your plant
