Maya Homeschool Kid Travel Top 10 Family Top Vacation Worldwide Ideas for Kids

Stimulating all the 5 senses can be a really great kids activity in the garden
~ Children love to participate when they can get actively involved, when they can Touch the garden, feel it with all of their 5 senses and
~ it is easy when teaching the five senses to utilise a sensory garden for hands on activities and when creating a thematic unit five senses theme it is often overlooked to simply go outside in the childrens garden and explore

Tip: Sensory Garden for Kids

~ if you are creating a kids sensory garden where other children can come and visit as well try making some Senses Signs for your areas of the garden
~ ie take some weatherproof wood and make a hand sign for the touch sensory garden, an ear for he sound part of the kids garden, a nose for the smell part and and a mouth ( or tongue) fof the taste part and an eye for the Look out and see Part
~ Information on the five senses can be displayed on laminated sheets with easy reading kids activities ie: How many xyz can you spot .. and with a picture of the 5 senses on activity worksheets to be handed out when preparing thematic unit five senses
~ if you create a little sensory walkway through your garden then at the end of the path put a little sign and maybe a chair or wooden garden bencah for sitting on and ask "How did this garden make you feel?
