~ Native to us are newts, the crested Newt being a very beautiful species living near garden ponds

~ These animal are endangered but Maya and I have created lots of little backyard wildlife habitats that support the protection of the newt habitat

~ Even in a Kid Garden you can teach young children how to be aware of the endangered species of animals, how to indentify them and what steps to take to maybe provide them a little home in your backyard garden
